La Lanterne de St Fiacre is a traditional farmhouse which has been sympathetically renovated in a rustic Provençal style using local materials. It offers accommodation to sleep 10 people with double and twin bedrooms that are simply furnished, a rustic handpainted kitchen which is open to the living and dining area with doors leading out to a large covered terrace. There is also a separate games room with billiards, table football, two sofas and a TV with DVD player.
A free-form pool located within the grounds, which can be security fenced, has a shallow beach area and a large terrace surrounding it upon which to soak up the sun and enjoy the tranquility and views.
Set in 12 acres of open ground amidst the hills behind St Tropez, it has unspoilt views over acres of natural forest in the Massif des Maures National Park, an area of uninterrupted natural beauty. As the location is remote from any neighbours, the area is very peaceful, yet you are only a 10 minute drive into the picturesque village of Le Garde Freinet, 25 minutes from the coast and just over an hour from Nice airport.
The approach to the farmhouse is via an un-made dirt road through the forest, which may be difficult for a low-wheel based car.
